This handcrafted necklace in cast silver with burnished finish has a pendant in the shape of the famous Parthenope Mermaid. The story of this siren tells that it was brought by sea currents right between the rocks of Megaride (where today Castel dell'Ovo stands). There she was found by fishermen who venerated her as a goddess. Once she landed on the islet, the body of the mermaid dissolved, transforming itself into the morphology of the Neapolitan landscape. So she became the protector of the place. The dimensions of the pendant are 0,59' x 0,98'. The necklace is a 19,68' long silver venetian blind with a non-adjustable lobster clasp.. The necklace is delivered in its Argenteria MB box. The item is 100% made in Italy.
