In particular, the pendant represents the curly Sfogliatella, made of hand-enamelled Silver. The curly Sfogliatella, initially called Santarosa, originated in 1600 in a convent in Conca dei Marini, where a nun instead of throwing away leftover semolina pasta, reused it by adding dried fruit, sugar and limoncello, obtaining a filling.
